Troubleshooting Settings (Common Issues and Fixes)

This article covers the most common “something changed and I don’t know why” issues related to Settings.


Issue: Help & Getting Started is missing from the header

  • Cause: The help wizard was disabled.
  • Fix: Settings → Help & Onboarding → enable Show Help Wizard button in header.

Issue: Welcome guide does not appear on startup

  • Cause: “Don’t show this on startup” was selected previously.
  • Fix: Settings → Help & Onboarding → enable Show welcome guide on startup.

Issue: Sample Data Mode badge is gone

  • Cause: Sample data was cleared.
  • Fix: None. This is expected. Add real clients and opportunities next.

Issue: I still see demo clients/opportunities after clearing sample data

  • Fix: Refresh the browser, then confirm you are in the correct account.
  • If the issue persists, contact support and include a screenshot of your Settings → Sample Data Management section.

Issue: My profile changes are not showing

  • Fix: Save changes, refresh the page, and confirm you edited the correct account.
