This article covers the most common reasons an advisor sees “unexpected” behavior on the dashboard.
Issue: “Help & Getting Started” is missing
- Cause: Help Wizard is disabled.
- Fix: Go to Settings → Help & Onboarding and re-enable the Help button.
Issue: The welcome guide no longer appears on startup
- Cause: “Don’t show on startup” was selected previously.
- Fix: Go to Settings → Help & Onboarding and re-enable “Show welcome guide on startup.”
Issue: “Sample Data Mode” badge disappeared
- Cause: Sample data was cleared.
- Fix: None required. This is expected.
Issue: Monthly Revenue looks wrong
- Most common cause: Opportunity values are being entered inconsistently.
- Fix: Choose a consistent “value” method (fee estimate, commission estimate, or annual revenue) and apply it to all opportunities.
Issue: I don’t see Opportunities or certain features
- Cause: Feature availability may vary by account or rollout stage.
- Fix: Confirm your plan/features with support if you believe something is missing.
