IronClad Family makes it easy to designate different recipients for different types of information. The information in each vault is encrypted using information known only to you and the recipient or delegate. You also have the flexibility of delivering a vault on a specific date or upon death.

If you choose the latter, IronClad Family will reach out to you on occasion and will do further research to verify if a vault needs to be delivered to your recipients as you designated.
- Click on the Vaults tab.
- Click on any vault you've already created or create a new one by clicking "Create Vault".
- Now you can see 3 settings options for your vault:
1) Delivery Conditions
Click Delivery Conditions. You can choose how to have your vault delivered to the designated recipients (instructions on assigning recipients in step 10 below). A vault can either be delivered based on “Death or Incapacitation” of vault owner, or on a certain Date like a child's 18th birthday for example, or simply Manually using the “Deliver Now” button.
Note: Once a vault is delivered, it cannot be edited.
- Open the "Recipient" tab and assign who this vault should be delivered to, based on the delivery trigger you've set. in this example; My last will and testament will be delivered to my daughter upon my death or incapacitation.
- Please note the "Preview Only" option. If enabled, then your vault recipients will see filenames but not inside the files or content if you shared the vault delivery link with them BEFORE the vault is delivered.
2) Details
Provides vault name, date it was created and what content is has.
3) Activity
View what recent changes have been made to this specific vault.
