Everything else in your vault is about what you have and what to do with it. This is the part that's simply you — the things you'd want said, to the people you'd want to say them to. It's the part families keep, long after the paperwork is settled.
One subcategory lives here: Personal messages. Add a separate message for each person, or each occasion.

Ideas for what to leave
People sometimes freeze at the blank note field. A few of the things others have left:
- A letter to each child, to be opened on a milestone birthday
- The story of how you and your partner met, in your own words
- Passwords to the family photo accounts, and which pictures matter and why
- Advice you'd give if you could be there — for a wedding, a first home, a hard year
- Simply I'm proud of you, addressed to the person who'll most need to hear it
None of it has to be polished. The people receiving these won't be grading the writing. They'll be grateful the words exist at all.
