Activate Google Fi for Your IronClad Family GPS Watch / Pendant

Google Fi Wireless provides fast, reliable nationwide 4G LTE and 5G coverage through the T-Mobile network. Google Fi Wireless users have access to multiple carrier networks to stay connected as they travel domestically and around the world.


To activate your Google Fi Sim, you will need:

  1. An unlocked Mobile Phone
  2. A google account.
  3. Payment method associated with this google account.


To activate your sim, please follow these steps:

  • Insert sim into your unlocked mobile phone.
  • Via Wi-Fi connectivity, download the Fi App
  • You can use your existing Google account to login and activate your Fi Subscription
  • Please note it is sufficient to opt for the flexible plan which for one-user Cell/Data/SMS/Talk plan for $20/month. https://fi.google.com/cart?selectedplan=4&numpeople=1
  • Get new number assigned to your sim card.
  • Check cell connectivity by sending texts or calling other numbers to make sure the sim card is working properly.


Once the above steps have been completed, take the sim card out of the unlocked phone and follow these final steps:

  • Make sure your IronClad Family Device is turned off (Very important or you will damage the device)
  • Remove the screw from the sim tray and insert the Google Fi Sim card. Please follow the manual instructions on how to do so and 
  • Insert the sim tray back into your IronClad Family GPS device. 
  • Don't forget to tighten the sim tray with the provided screw to avoid any water or other weather element damage.
  • Turn on your device.


A QR code should have been displayed once the device was turned on and new cell / GPS connectivity has been established successfully. 


Now you should be able to go into your Aiebiele Plus app and bind the device per instructions provided in the manual.
